How did you get started with Pyrography ?

I was doing some shopping once and I found a Pyrographer, I looked at it and I knew I wanted to try Pyrography. I got home and started burning on wood for the first time and since then I love it!


What artistic styles or artists have influenced your work?

I like burning drawings of artists and horses, but basically any idea that comes to my mind.

Are you showing or selling anywhere locally? If so, where and when?

I’m not showing anywhere right now. Just on the events organized by Calaca the First Friday of each month.


Where do you see your work in one year? Five years?

I love this art and I expect to show my work in more places so people can see what I do. I always place my emotions in my burnings and in everything I do, and I want to share that with the final owner of every piece. In five years I see part of me in
a lot of places.

I also like to compose music in Spanish, I love that! I enjoy doing my own
recordings at home and sharing them with my friends and family and anyone
who likes music! I love every way we have to express what’s inside of us...
