Artist's Statement
I have been into painting, drawing and designing most of my life since childhood. I studied alone discovering different worlds of my imagination. Creating my own reality with dreams as visions for my paintings is my focus as a child and as an adult. It has brought me many spiritual gifts within the world I live.
Sleep My Dear Angel by Jesse BretthorstMy objective is to create original works of art. As a Fine Artist I design and invent works of art through my Spirit. I travel in dreams and "see" visions of "Dream Paintings". My dreams are the Muse within me. The medium I use in my Fine Art Paintings is acrylic and sometimes mixed with other kinds of effects and elements. Some of my mastered work is my limited collection of "Light Pictures" electrified with lights.
Recently around the year 2000 I began working with digital art work on the computer. I also scan my original art work and make then into JPEGS creating Fine Art Prints. You will see them on our website.
Rainbow Fire by Jesse BretthorstMy art work is happy, colorful, spiritual and original. It reminds me of how beautiful the world can be if one believes in creating their own reality with Spirit.
---Jesse Bretthorst
My work is mainly white earthenware clay with low fired 3 layers of underglaze and 2 layers of clear diamond overglaze. With the Potter's wheel feeling the clay is a thought as the design is spontaneous.
Original designer pieces are created by hand with motifs, lines, symbols and dots. My body of works is inspired by the Art Deco and Regency eras and influenced by Southwestern colors.

My studies at the Community Colleges and the Arizona State University consisted of Fine Art Commercial Pottery and a minor in Commercial Drawing and Design. I have an Associates Degree in Ceramics.
Through many years of designing pottery and having an Art Studio gives me the chance to convey my style and design to the public. The underglaze technique is mastered in my collection of Fine Art Pottery.
My Fine Art Pottery is signed, dated and numbered.
My creativity is unlimited with a sense for originality, color, style, design and form.---S. Joannes Sikora
